This is Tamiya's GMC with a Masters Productions conversion set to make the 40mm Bofors variant used by the Free French in late ww2. Both kits are very good and everything goes together well.

| The Bofors gun and its platform go together very well, and everything except the seats was done in two evenings (and I am a slow worker!). The equilibrators suffered from mould shift, and I had to rebuild the end caps and small fittings. Building the sight was fiddly, but it fit well. Masters' etched firing pedal is incorrect, and I made a new one from plastic strip and a piece of scrap PE (not shown). |
