GMC 2.5 ton truck with 40mm Bofors

This is Tamiya's GMC with a Masters Productions conversion set to make the 40mm Bofors variant used by the Free French in late ww2. Both kits are very good and everything goes together well. I have written a review on the conversion set which you can find here: http://www.track-link.net/reviews/k1162

Chapter 3 - Front DetailsAug 14, 2003
I replaced the grillwork on the brushguards with copper wire, as Tamiya depict this as metal strips like the radiator grille. For some reason, Tamiya omitted the bonnet clips, which I added from stretched sprue and punchings cut in half. These are very obvious details and I can't think of a reason why they shouldn't be included. Tamiya did the same with their Jeep kit, and I really wonder why.
I also added 36 bolts to the grille, made from stretched sprue.
