GMC 2.5 ton truck with 40mm Bofors

This is Tamiya's GMC with a Masters Productions conversion set to make the 40mm Bofors variant used by the Free French in late ww2. Both kits are very good and everything goes together well. I have written a review on the conversion set which you can find here: http://www.track-link.net/reviews/k1162

Chapter 4 - More Cab DetailsAug 16, 2003
I added some more detail to the cab. I have numbered them for your convenience :-) .

1 and 7. Added swivels and eyelets for the door slings

2. Scribed in a dividing line between the rifles and their racks. I didn't bother with where the rack meets the rifle butt, because this area is nearly invisible. I will add the rifle slings once I'll have figured out how a Garand sling actually goes together. These are very complicated affairs!

3. Drilled out the hooks used for holding the canvas foul weather doors. A lot easier than replacing them!

4 and 5. Added eyelets and hooks for attaching the canvas roof.

6. Added some detail to the mirror bracket.

8. used some strip to add detail that was very faint on the Tamiya model.
