T-34/76 Kit-bash

I needed to do something different to off set the "Smart kit" syndrome so I looked through some of my books and thought of some of the models out there and came up with this one. I am using the Zvezda T-34/76 as the base kit and the Maqutte T-34 1940 kit for its early wheels and link to link tracks. Both kits did not cost that much and the Zvezda kits is not a bad model. On the other hand the Maquatte kit is only good for some of its parts. I will be building the tank seen from the Squadron T-34 book since the Zvezda kit comes with the exact decals to match. More to follow...

The tracks are from the Maquette kit and are link to link. I assemble them with liquid cement and glue them to the bottoms of the wheels and front drive wheel, then they are flipped over and connected. I always leave the body off so they can flip around without hitting the fenders. This is done on all my tanks.
