Subject:  Last call -- Atak Panther zimmeritList thread.

The new Atak zimmerit for the DML Panthers A kits has been selling fast. I'm down to one left of each of the three types. Priced at $19 for either of the two late A sets and $21 for the early A set (which includes Karaya brass tow cable and track repair cable) these really speed up the most difficult task of getting a convincing zimmerit finish on a Panther. My last Panther took 35 minutes to zimmerit versus almost three days for the one before it using putty and a texturing blade.

35012 Early Panther A zimmerit (square tile pattern with no ridges) $21
35019 Late Panther A zimmerit (vertical ridges on horizontal cross hatches on hull and turret) $19
35021 Late Panther A zimmerit (hull pattern as 35019 but diagonal cross hatching on the turret. $19

It'll be a while before I can restock so get 'em while you can. First come, first served -- postage $3, add $1 more for insurance if desired -- we're not responsible for orders lost in shipping. PayPal accepted as are personal checks, MOs, or cash.

Just so you Panther D fans don't feel ignored, I also still have one set of Part photoetch for the D. The four sheets of PE are superior to Aber, IMHO, as the mesh weave of the fan and cooling intake screening is reproduced perectly - it actually looks woven. The two stowage bins for the rear of the hull are miniature masterpieces in their own right, each consisting of 22 pieces. This would be an ideal set for superdetailing a Kursk Panther without zimmerit. This last set in stock is priced at $15 + $2 postage.

As a last Panther-related item, I still have a few copies of Armada's booklet on Panthers in stock. The text is Russian, the format matches Squadron/Signal "In Action" style, the photos are from the Red Army's archives and don't repeat anything seen in Western publications. Nice color art for a Kursk Panther D with the stalking cat turret insignia on the cover, plus profiles for several other D, A and G tanks inside. $12/copy + $2 postage.
