Hi Dave,
You and me alike, I've been using W&N Series Nr. 7 for over 8 years now and if you take care of them it'll hold its point.
The only reason why I brought this brushes is firstly, as a figure painter, I know how important it is have a great brush and secondly, I was looking for an alternative to W&N Series 7.
It hairs and size look alike the Series 7 but slightly thinner but the point is really sharp just like Series 7 and soft too. It works superb well with Acrylics, that I'm very sure, as I only use Acrylics for painting now. In fact, I've used them on Daley Rowney and Liquidtex too and sure feels the same to me.
I'll have to try them out with oils. I'll do it tonight and update you.
cheers & best regards,
sudhesh |
