I just got in four copies each of these new titles from Wydawnicto MIlitaria, a Publisher in Warsaw, Poland. The books have parallel English/Polish texts, contain about 50 B&W photos, 20 or so pieces of 1/35th scale line art, and about a dozen pages of color profiles. The only exception to this is #217 Panzer Colors Volume IV, the sixth in the series on German camouflage patterns. There's about 64 pages, all with full-color profiles showing a wide range of vehicles from all fronts on which the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS fought. Lots of unusual stuff. $25

#186 Wiking: This covers the 5th SS Panzer Division. 80 Pages of English text with B&W photos and 11 pages of color profiles of vehicles operated by the division in Russia. This was a very unusual SS unit in that it incorporated men from al the Nordic countries, plus Holland, Belgium, etc., even a cute blonde nurse from Finland. $17

#208 Nordland: Another unusual SS unit history, this time about the 11th SS Freiwilligen (Volunteer) Panzer Grenadier Division "Nordland."
These men were drawn from Denmark and Norway to serve in their own SS unit. 80 pages of text with loads of B&W photos, three pages of color profiles of unit vehicles, mostly StuGs, Hetzers, 250 half tracks, inluding a couple of /9s, a 251 half track and finally an ex-Italian M14/41. English summary. $18

#215 SdKfz 251: This one should be very popular, following as it does in the wake of all the new 251C and D kits issued or awaiting release. There are 64 pages, 10 with color shots of the restored 251/7 Ausf. D at Saumur, 12 pages of color profiles, more than a dozen 1/35th scale line drawings, and English text describing the development of the half tracked APC/SP gun mount: Price $22

#216 France 1944 Vol. 2: A color cover illustration of Michael Wittman's Tiger #222 from Villers Bocage is on the cover while inside are 11 pages of color profiles of various Axis and Allied vehicles used in the post-landing phase of the Normandy invasion. Lots of weird things: Renault R35 converted to an 81mm mortar carrier, a Panzer Lehr Mk IV (they shared the honors at Villers Bocage with 1st sSSPzAbt< British AVREs, SdKfz 234/3, early Tiger IIs with the "Porsche" turret, British Loyd carriers, US Army M10s, upgraded Panzer IV C, Marder I, several kinds of Shermans, and even a Panhard 179 mounting a 5cm gun from an early Panzer III. The text focuses on the British with good coverage of Villers Bocage, "Epsom," and "Goodwood." Anout 80 pages with 100 B&W shots and maps for the major engagements. $18

While not a book, I also got in one of the MB (Master Box Ltd) 1/35th scale kit of the Panzer I Ausf. A Ambulance. Nice detail, PE brass screens for the mufflers, decals, three wounded German figures. $29.50

Quite a few new DML and AFV kits here too. These are priced at $24 each. In most cases there is only one of each available, so first come, first served.
