For those of you who are planning to do a DUKW, GPA, or LCM and who have not visited the Thachweave Products site or seen their woven bumpers, please do. They are not inexpensive, but the bumpers are very well done and do make a major improvement to the molded ones in the kits. The only thing that might not be clear is that there is a "back" to the bumper that you will want to put where it won't show. I see that they have added two varieties of cargo nets, which I have not seen before but will order soon.
I have no connection with Thachweave other than having bought their 1/35 bumper prodcuts. |
