Introducing “Wee Friends”

It gives us great pleasure at Friendship Models to announce the release of our own range of figures. These figures are the excellent 1/35th scale series designed by Pete Morton and previously released under his own Jakrei label. We have purchased the full range including the unreleased figures (20 in all). These will now be available under our own “Wee Friends” label.

Initially we will be releasing 11 figures and we intend to release the remaining 9 figures over the next couple of months. Please see our website for photos and prices of the initial releases.

To start with we are going to continue production of the figures in white metal, and later on next year we will also release the figures in resin. We envisage producing the figures in both mediums for the first year and will asses how popular both materials are. We have decided to do this in response to comments from customers at model shows in the U.K., so if you prefer a particular medium please tell us as it’s your preferences that will determine our final choice.

It is also our intention to release figures in other scales. These include a 54mm historical series, 75mm and 120mm historical and fantasy series, a 150mm fantasy series and a range of figure busts.

Regards,
Ian Hanratty
