"Kit 5510501
MSRP = $46USD

Model Rectifier Corporation is announcing the immediate release of a two model kit, containing the CR.42 LW Bi-plane and the AB-41 Autoblinda. With 100% new tooling, this is Italeri’s first effort into 1/48 scale armor!

The CR.42 LW was an all metal biplane used by the Luftwaffe in WWII. The Autoblinda AB 41 was a 6-wheel, cutting edge, armor plated vehicle that carried a 20mm Breda 35 cannon. Capable of about 45mph, its speed was twice that of similar vehicles. About 450 were built during WWII.
Having detailed painting instructions and comprehensive decal sheet, this 2-in-1 kit plastic model combination kit enables the modeler to build one of four Autoblinda historical models and one of two CR.42 LW aircraft decorations. The Autoblinda comes with soft rubber tires and a pre-colored metal chassis as well as turret detail. The CR.42 LW has a highly detailed cockpit and engine. This Italeri Supermodel kit makes a great addition to any 1/48 scale WWII diorama."

The above is from the newsletter of Italeri's US distributor; MRC. I wonder what other 1/48th scale kits we can expect from Italeri...or is this one a Tamiya product packaged by Italeri (since they have been swapping sprues lately)?

Regards,
Saúl
