Hi John,
Thanks for the insight, I am using long cure rubber but I think you might have a good idea to try a one piece mold. I do have a 5 gallon pressure pot I use for spraying finish on woodworking projects, it has a liner so I can remove the laquer and have a clean pot. HOWEVER I have no idea how to "pressure cast". When I say rough cast the finished parts have a slight almost sand paper rough surface. I have tried several "release agents" from talc, to commercial, to petrolium jelly and I think these might be the culprit.the original is smooth.
