As I understand it Jeff, every other link - the non toothed one as those were the ones with the mounting holes drilled in them. I'm not sure about the nuts and bolts as the wheels run pretty close to the holes - possibly flush head and slotted with a nut on the road side? Either way round would be a nightmare for maintenance and if they were installed the wrong way round they would strip the thread as they got onto tarmac.
