Peter,

I know of no compound that can be modeled that will cure clear. I have seen people do some pretty amazing things by carving or turning clear styrene sprues and then polishing the part, also done with acrylic rod. I have also seen work done with acrylic toothbrush handles to get a transparent colored part such as a wing tip navigation light. I hope this helps.
