The Tamiya's Version of the Marder III, according to my scant
sources, state 66/(or over 100 Sources differ) were sent to North Afrika
from July to November 1942 for service with Pz.Jag.Abt.33/15Pz.Div. and
Pz.Jag.Abt.39/21Pz.Div.. As for paint said sources mention most were "
Painted with a coat of sand yellow (RAL 8000) or brown (RAL 8020) over
the dark gray (RAL 7021) base coat". I have been able to see 16 pictures
of said vehicle (12 Different Vehicles) and to my eyes (and I emphasize
MY fallible eyes) they seem to fallow the above paint scheme.

Now if you mean the old Italeri Version I can't find any source for a
North Afrika showing. Nearest I can place it is Tunisia. And yes I know
Tunisia is in Africa but I'm one of those pesky people who deem it a
different Campaign from North Afrika. Sorry.

The above are just the ramblings of a possible demented person (too many
chemical fumes). Any errors in quoting sources are my mistakes, any
errors in sources are source errors. For "Information purposes only".
