More than one published source (articles in MMiR, Tamiya Model Magazine Internations, and AFV) states that the DML Panther G (kit no 9045) has the correct double-rim wheels that the Tamiya Panthers lack. In building my Bergepanther (several photos published on this website), I cannabilized wheels from the DML kit for use on the Tamiya - only the outter wheels are needed.
However, what is noted in the previous emails sounds logical too.
