Hi Mark,
What I wrote was that Aber makes TWO sets of Pz IV fenders. The newer one being much simpler to use. I do not think they were designed for the older Tamiya kit. The Aber set (older) is mentioned in their PE set for the Pz IV Ausf F which is designed for the Italeri kit. So this is an option.
You project is the great kind of old school kit bashing I enjoy. Contact me directly to see if I have anything in my stash to help out.
