Thanks for the information, Paul. At this point the fenders are the only item I don't have. I was at first thinking to scratch build them using some PE tread plate and bits of brass sheet but the Aber sets I've seen look spectacular when built up.
I'd very much appreciate anything you can tell me about how well the set fits and which one you checked.
I already have the Tamiya fighting compartment narrowed down to fit the Italeri hull (had to cut .040" from each side) and just last night realized that I need to update the lower rear of the hull to a "J" profile but so far it's coming together pretty well.
BTW, I seem to recall that you undertook this same kit bash some time ago. Anything I should be aware of?
