I've got the AFV Club individual T-51 tracks which are also for VVSS. I don't understand what you mean by "arm". There are three parts: the trackpad, the end connector and the duckbill (last two together are the extended end connector).
I haven't used them myself yet, and looking at the amount of sink holes, I probably won't. (I'll get the AFV Club rubber band tracks instead.) I red somewhere that the weak point of the kit design is in the tension between the pins on the pads and the holes in the end connectors (which need widening).
Btw, you should only mount the duckbills on the outside of the track, not as on the box, on both ends.
