| I have been working on this set on and off for some time, though I am not finished. I believe the spacers they are referring to (I dont have the box amy more for refference) were to place between the hull and the boggy units, spacing them more away from the hull so you could use the duck bills on both sides of the track. This was not very common in WWII due to the fact it was quite a bit of work to remove the boggy units just for the additional space. However this set up was seen more often after the war, some. Just another option. If you have access to Hunnnicut's Sherman book he covers this. |
