It appears that the tale that friction is sufficient to hold the tracks together was truly false. Thanks for the hint on the White Glue for the pins.
Were you building the Tamiya M4 that had the wrong sprockets??? The AFV Club T48 kit is supposed to be for the Tamiya M4 kit.
