I'll pass along this one (that I picked up somewhere else).

When using CA, I often would just place a dab on an old sheet of styrene or a quarter or something. However, if you get a small slip of aluminum foil and squirt a few drops into that, the CA lasts a very long time without hardening. For some reason the aluminum keeps the CA from forming its crystal for a long time.

I just squash a bit of aluminum onto a Humbrol paint tin and I'm good to go!
