Gator Glue
An alternative to Super Glue.

Tired of gluing your fingers together or to something else when using CA? Try Gator Glue.

I discovered this stuff while perusing the discussion boards on modelshipwrights.com. Gator Glue is an non-toxic acrylic polymer adhesive suitable for gluing photoetch to plastic. It can be applied with a paint brush and cleans up with soap and water.

I have tried gluing PE to plastic, plastic to plastic, PE to resin, plastic to resin and PE to PE. So far so good.

It’s tacky as soon as it’s applied but does not set or cure for awhile, allowing you to position the part before setting.

So far, it’s held up well to both acrylic and enamel based paint and washes.

Gator Glue is available from http://www.gatorsmask.com/gatorglueorder.html $6.50 for a 1.5 oz bottle.
