| I didn't know you were talking about tube glue. there should be an easy way to seperate the pieces, since the tube stuff just holds the pieces together itself without bonding them. one reason a lot of people don't use tube glue is that over time it supposedly breaks down and the pieces fall apart. this being the case, i would think anything like fingernail polish remover or maybe EasyOff oven cleaner might work. incidentally, i've found that EasyOff is excellent at removing old paint jobs and i think also super glue bonds. I had a kit that i did a HORRIBLE paint job on, coated it in EasyOff and let it sit a bit, then came back with a toothbrush and cleaned it right up with no noticable damage to the kit parts!! |
