Cheers David,

So its not too bad a correction process then? I shall ask the few armour builders at our local club if anyone has any duff kingtigers in the spares box/practice stock pile to scrounge a deck from. I have the tamiya panther g steel wheel (the one with all the night vision stuff on it) is the turret from that the one you refer to? Alternatively I may just get a 75mm barrel and put that in the schmalturm, adjust the angles a touch to make it fit the hull... Trouble is Im nearing the end of a major detail and conversion job on an SdKfz7/SdAnh115/Pz1 combo which has taken a few years on and off to get thus far and fancied a quick build I can let my hair down on and not be bound by painting 'rules' lol oh well...

So once again this site has come up trumps with info and friendly types willing to go above and beyond the call to help out a stranger. Thanks hugely guys, you have been a BIG help!

Cheers

Gary
