Hey Steve,
You love these big kits! So do I. I did the old DML E-100 and loved it. One change I made, which you might want to think about is on the front. In your picture, look at the front plate, outboard of the slots for the hull sides. The way its molded, it appears they are trying to depict the top of the plate coming up from the hull bottom, however there is no plate coming up in these outboard portions. So, I just filled and sanded to make it look seamless coming DOWN. I also added plastic under this to depict the proper thickness. A word of caution, I have NO documentation to back this up. Just my perhaps flawed logic, so take it with a big grain of salt.
You said you made the barrel, did you turn it yourself? |
