Hi Jan,
You can try this:
(1) Label each bag of track with a number, e.g. 'A' for the lighter coloured tracks, and 'B' for the slightly darker one.
(2) Take one piece of track link from each bag, and check the position of the track pin on each piece. Also pay attention to tread pattern on the links.
(3) Check the box art or other reference to determine how the tread pattern should be oriented then looking at the tank from the front.
(4) While looking at the tank hull from the front layout the two track pieces so their tread pattern is in the correct direction AND with the track pin pointing outward, i.e. not pointing toward the hull sides. Then you will know which bag is left and which is right.
(5) Finally, change the labels on the bags to 'Left' and 'Right' accordingly. Remember: the 'Left' and 'Right' here are defined as viewing the tank hull from the front, not from the driver's perspective.
