Subject:  Academy M3A1 Stuart Fuel Tanks?List thread.

 Date:  Mar 4, 2008
 From:  Fred Schwarz
I'm thinking of building the Academy M3A1 Stuart next. I'm pretty much in an OoB mode due to a busy life and I just want to get things done. So I may do the one in the box with the yellow stars for the US Army in Tunisia. Two questions pop up:

1. The instructions show that tank having the big auxiliary fuel tanks. I have doubts as to if these were on US tanks in North Africa. So were they on this tank? Or did it have the mounts for the tanks but did not use the tanks? Or did it not even have the mounts?

2. Did this tank have the sponson .30 Cal MGs.

Sorry for appearing lazy and having others do my research, but I have limited time and would rather build than flip pages. So I thank you in advance.
