I have used Gorilla Glue before on wood working projects. To say it expands is putting it mildly. I once glued two boards together and before it fully set some of the glue started bubbling out of a tight knot hole an inch away from the bond! REALLY works good on wood. Have not tried it on plastic or PE yet though.
I just got my first bottle of Gator Glue and have only tried it once so far, but really liked the results. I used it to assemble an air intake screen and frame for a KV-14. Worked great, does not expand, and allows time for positioning. And, its my only glue I can use without my wife complaining about the smell. I like how it goes on with a paint brush, so it goes exactly where you want it. And water clean up is really nice. Non toxic is great too. |
