Hi,
for camo netting is most often used medical gauze, but IMO it's out of scale and hair net works better, very cheap, durable and you can get it in a few colours, pattern and size, I saw brown, grey and balck, just add leaves to it (check reference pics), as in real these were mostly textile pieces I guess, pieces of paper tissue or whatever suits. If you cut it can fall apart though, so definietly fix it before applying whiteglue or spray it over.
