John,

I hate to burst your bubble but the late M4A1 Shermans did not have a 75mm turret. To my knowledge the only wet storage (or big hatch) M4A1 Shermans to have the 75mm turret were the DD tanks. They used the 75mm turret because the longer 76mm gun fouled the flotation skirts.

Also not too many late Shermans had the open spoked welded road wheels you show on your model. Though it wasn't impossible by this stage in the war Shermans had various pressed steel wheel. The open spoked wheels could get jambed and through a track. Also, especially the Japanese, opposing forces would jamb logs into the spokes fouling the suspension.

Late model M4A1 Shermans didn't have appliqué armor. The first series had noticeable bulges cast right into the hull where the appliqué would go. Later versions (like your hull) these bulges were flared into the casting and not noticeable.

Tracks look really good. I like the way you are getting them to line up straight. Good idea.
