Paint the back of the panel with white acrylic, then use white glue to
attach it to the backside of the dash (as in the Jeep kit). Use Walther's
Magic Masker (a model railroad supply compound), which is really nothing
more than very forgiving rubber cement, to cover the opening of the bezel in
the dashboard. This will protect the instrument face while you finish the
kit. When you're done pointing, very carefully use the point of an Xacto #11
blade to prick up a bit of the masker. The rest should pull away
immediately.
