Here's my start on the wheels and suspension:

The EFV uses a lightweight forged aluminum wheel and a specially developed hydro-pneumatic suspension system that is strong, compact and provides for the wheels' retraction into the hull for operation in water mode.

I am using Tamiya Leopard 1A2 wheels, with the rubber tire portion turned down to match the EFV's thinner tire profile and radius; and Academy Bradley hub/bolts, which the EFV uses.

I removed the Leopard hub/bolts, smoothed the contours with my MiniMite, thinned the back of the Bradley hub/bolt section to almost nothing and melted it into the wheel with liquid cement. I then smoothed and blended the center area with Mr. Surfacer 1000.

Also shown is the styrene master for the hydro-pnuematic suspension arm, which will be cast in resin.

You can see in the retracted wheel positioning in the drawing template.
