| Hi , as Dave said it is in the preperation of the model , It is done to the bare plastic before any primer or paint is added . It all depends on the overall effect you want to achieve . I will soon post up a scan of the part as it is painted to replicate Pitted steel . As with all new tips it is up to the modeller to try the experiment and see if can be used by him . cheers ian |
