The Tamiya Quick Type Epoxy Putty is more like chewing gum in consistency, rather than the doughy consistency of Milliputt. It's similar to Knead-a-Tite in that respect, and some figure modelers prefer that type of putty. I would say that Milliputt is easier to feather into the plastic using a wet finger, if I wanted to reshape a Sherman turret, for instance. I use both types myself, as well Apoxie Sculpt.
