| Subject: | Removing two component epoxy glue | |

Hi guys,
Many moons ago, before Bronco produced their Comet kit, I started a kitbash of the Accurate Armour Comet and Tamiya Cromwell kits to build a better detailed Comet.
All went well to the point were I applied the AA resin tracks, for I was not pleased with the look of these. Well, while being unhappy Bronco anounced their Comet kit, and as I expected lots of AM in reaction on that kit, I decided to shelf my Comet project awaiting new AM tracks.
I now have great Friull tracks (and also the Voyager fender set and Lion Marc turret set) so it is time to have the Comet back on the workbench.
One problem though, I have glued these resin tracks to the metal AA running gear using two component epoxy glue. How do I remove these tracks without damaging the running gear?
So, any advise on removing/dissolving two component epoxy glue will be more then welcome!
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Alex |
