Hi Dominic; I too have a old
paasche dbl action 16 old yrs in fact. But I always keep new very fine tips and needels in it all of the time. I have my Tamiya paints thined with 70% rubbing alcohol on a ratio of about 40% paint 60% thinner. I have my regulator on my hose set at thirty five ft.lbs.give or take a lb.. And I have my gun adjusted down completely and my paint is thin. I also wear a laytex glove on the hand that is holding the tank and do a final test on it before I spray the pattern. The main thing is practice and take your time . Thanks!!! Steve |
