Excellent work, Yago! Thanks for the post and access to your web pages.
One thing to take into consideration when building trees this tall that are spaced this close together: deciduous trees will not have branches with leaves close to the ground like some evergreens will. This is because so many trees this close together will shade one another and the lower branches will not survive. Evergreens can make do with less light, but even they will have branches die off when the light level gets too low. The deciduous trees will also tend to look spindly - thin trunks with bushy tops. Look closely at the "real" photo at the top of Yago's page and you'll see what I mean. Also, be sure your diorama base is heavy enough that the trees don't make things top heavy and unstable!
