I have sort of the opposite problem. I normally wear coke bottle bi-focal glasses (probably should be tri-focal now). If I take them off I can see real good out to about 6 inches, great for working on fine stuff, even PE bits. However I am constantly looking for my glasses in the fog so I can find/read the intructions. Lazer sergery would not work for me because although I would no longer need my glasses for normal use, I would then have to use reading glasses to do my modeling. Not a good trade off as far as I am concerned.
