I think the secret is accuracy and mathematics.
First one has to measure how long the tread on the outside of the tire is, then has to calculate the size of the tread blocks and then has to work them out.
Accuracy is needed to make them just as big as needed, and then replicate them in a sufficient number.
At least they have to be placed very accurately on the tire. It is just a question of tread block and gap.
Very time consuming and labour intensive. Never tried it because too much work.
any other ways to make a tire?
