| I worked with some vaccuform tires once. That was close to scratch building. I cut zig zag strips of real thin plastic with a pinking shears and glued them around the smooth tire. Then cut some of the strips apart into little blocks and glued them in place. Some thin Evergreen was used for some bands around the tire tread. It was a pain as I had to do each tire on the whole truck one at a time. |
