Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a readily available material that would work to replace a model's molded screens over the engines? I know there is fine brass screen and specialty items available over the internet but as this is the only thing I need at the moment (and I don't want to pay the shiping on such a little thing) I was wondering if anyone has ever discovered something at the hardware store that worked.

This is for an old Tamiya T-34 that I am putting together as a diversion so I didn't want to get too into it, but I figured the screen was the least I could do. Thanks for any help.
