| I scored Tamiya's ol' 1/25 scale kit of the Russian T-34 type 85 @ Tamiyacon 2006 and got around to to building it a year ago. I love working on T-34's and have been doing so for a long time, this is #012! This particular kit is ancient (1969 i think?!) and I think it was designed after a post war vehicle especially the shape of the turret. At first glance, everything was chunky especially the fenders! Those were the first to go and it just kept going. i used magic-sculpt, an AB putty, and Evergreen and plastisctruct plastic, I also used brass rod for the grab handles and tie-downs and aluminum for the right front fender i thought I would dig this out and try my best to 'FIX" this kit so here are some shots before the paint went on! |
