Hi Chad,

Thanks for the link, it looked great, very informative. There was also another clip (extreme GMC) which showed the double front wheels on a restored vehicle. Going by the uniforms and steel cab, it seems that the 'track conversion' was developped early on in the war.

Rob,

I have the Tamiya Jimmy, Aber PE and the Masters SWB conversion. The Resicast front axle I have on order. Gonna build it as winch equipped SWB prime mover. I hope for some eastern Front pics, showing it in Soviet service with the tracks fitted. If I can't find these (to confirm they used it in this configuration) I think I will settle for an US vehicle towing an 105mm howitser. When finished I will show it in the TL gallery, but don't hold your breath, I'm a slow builder and I first have to finish my other twenty odd projects allready started! ;-)
