| Subject: | Best lighting for Painting/Working in | |

I have moved into a new house and am finishing my basement. I have managed to scrape out a small 10X5 foot room/closet for a workbench area and seeing as the basement was unfinished I have total freedom to setup the lighting.
My question is, what do you think is the best type of lighting to work in, florescent, incandescent, LED or a mix? My initial thoughts are a bank of florescent tubes on the ceiling and then LED puck lights directly above the work bench (I plan on having shelving/cupboards above the work bench so they can be mounted about 24 inches above the work surface).
Thanks
