Yes, your fears are justified. I was test fitting them this weekend for my
Academy M51's HVSS suspension.
The fit is extremely loose like the Stuart tracks. And each shoe has two
ejector pin marks to deal with. I bought a set at AMPS 2001 on a whim.
And, the pins break quite easily if you are not careful when you remove
them from the sprues. GO EASY!
I guess several coats from the old airbrush ought to help with the fit. I
hope!.
For later, I'll wait for the RHPS sets that are due in the next year.
