I've had good luck with Zap-A-Gap, which is the one I use all of the time.
Zip Kicker will not melt the plastic either (it will on DML kits).

Tenax, Tamiya Extra Thin and Testors Liquid Cement (in the bottle with
brush) have worked well enough. I did have trouble getting the front
fenders on the T-55 to stick - must have broken them off 5672 times before
and after painting.

Squadron White Putty, Green Putty and Stucco stick to the Trumpeter
plastic.
