The shovel in paricular is British, and the locations may vary. In the
original Italeri kit you got British antennas, too. Italeri reuses their
tools a lot, and their lame .50 cal.
The Verlinden tools are okay. I prefer Collector's Brass, and you can get the
pioneer tools with the straps already in place and even with the loops for the
tank decking.
Yes, plug and re-drill the mantlet holes properly. There should be a little
lip around at least one of them, too, and not just a hole.
The DML HVSS mounts are just pretty much bogus. Honestly, Academy's HVSS in
their Israeli M-51 is generally a lot better, better fitting and better
molded. DML's looks ok when done, though. It is just time consuming. |
