Hi Jon,
I think you'd have to leave the side hatches open if you wanted to have
interior detail visible with the help of a penlight. There was a nice 223
detailing article in MMiR #21 and some pictures had the turret removed so
the interior could be seen!
I really wish I had picked up Nuts & Bolts #4 on the 222 & 233. Hopefully
they'll reprint this and some others one day.
