This kit is based on the 1970's Tamiya StuG IV, and share the same
attributes if you know what I mean.

The Tamiya one fits together well and provides a good reprenstation of the
StuG IV.

The road wheels are a bit skinny and the tools are at times weak on detail
and could be replaced with better tools from Tamiya's PZ IV OVE set or your
spares from other models. As this is an early StuG IV it would normally
have zimmeret applied on the vertical surfaces (you may wnat to see Paul
Owen's article on TL about applying zimmeret)

If you want an accurate StuG IV the DML kits are better, but have a lot more
parts.

You should have fun with this kit, I've seen some quite good models made
from those Academy kits.
