Christophe:

I just purchased the USMC M1A1HA with mine plough,
kit #335. I must say that initially I am
impressed. It doesn't look to be a copy of any
other kit, and I built the DML version of the same
Abrams.

Surface detail is quite good, particularly the
non-skid surfaces. Some flash is present, but
it's no big deal. Ejector pin marks do not seem
to be a problem either. The wheels have good
detail, and they mount to separate suspension arms
that are NOT keyed to the hull with a separate
center hub made of a soft plastic.

You will have the choice of one-peice vinyl track
or link-and-length. Both are surprisingly well
done with detail on both sides--much better that
the DML link-and-length. The flaws are that both
have two raised bumps on the inside of each link.
Fairly easy to correct on the link-and-length by
running a flat sanding stick over them.

A square of woven mesh is included for the bustle
rack floor. Chain and wire is provided for the
mine plough. There is even a piece of clear
acetate with pre-cut rectangles for all the
periscopes.

The decals look a little iffy as far as
registration and thickness, but there are a lot of
separate numbers to customize your markings.

Wading trunks are provided also.

Ease of assembly and other gremlins are yet to be
determined, as I have just looked at the box
contents. I paid $20 USD for mine, and I would
say it's a good deal at this point.
